He is survived by: his son Rod; his wife Beverly Gartner of O'Neill; his children, Randy Gartner (Lila) of Chambers, Rodney Gartner (Rita) of O'Neill, Nancy Bowers of Spencer, Vicki Libolt (Denny) of Chambers, Renee Vandersnick (Charles) of O'Neill and Todd Gartner (Andrea) of Chambers; his grandchildren, Matthew Gartner (Leslie), Anthony Gartner, Hattie Burrell (Allen), Rachel Stacy (Chris), Rick Gartner (Jenny), Lindsey Strong, Alycia Harden (Matt), DeVries (Zach) of Montana, Donna Franssen (Schylar), Daniel Libolt, Sarah Vandersnick, Traci Vandersnick, Ty Gartner, Tate Gartner and Lizzie Gartner; and his sisters, Mary Lou Butts (Jim) of O'Neill, Betty Watson (Stanley) of O'Neill and Anna Porter (Charles) of Fremont. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
