It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Donahue of Chadron, Nebraska, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Rahe (Ben) and Catherine Rahe (Besler); her siblings, Violet O'Shea (Elmer), Nelma Strang (Clarence), Kenny Rahe (Margaret), Alvin Rahe, Jean Callahan (John), LaVern Rahe, Ruth (Roger), Moran (Wisconsin), Carmen Gaynor (T. J.) and Eddie Rahe (Bertha); her nieces and nephews, Janet O'Shea, Ginny Ressler, Paul Ehlinger, Jimmy, Tom Moran (Wisconsin) and John Donahue; her parents-in-law, Leo and Beatrice Donahue; and her brother-in-law Raymond Donahue.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Donahue; her daughter Mary Patricia Donahue; her son-in-law Alan Dymerski; the father of her child John Dymerski (Alice); her siblings-in-law, Helen Rahe of Monticello, Ed Donahue (Beth Johnson) of Roseville, CA and Carol (Rick Allard) of Solon; and also, Sue Kraus (Dave) of Cascade, Iowa, Mary Ehlinger of Cascade, Iowa, Carol Recker of Cascade, Iowa, Dave Strang (Marjorie) of Cascade, Marjean Tucker of Des Moines, Marianne Cigrand (Larry) of Freeport, IL, Donna Kluesner of Farley, Joyce Ehrisman of Monticello, Denny Rahe (Deb) of Fairfax, Iowa, Colleen Miller (Bob) of Wisconsin, Mary Jo Cottrell of Dubuque, Iowa, Janet Callahan of Dubuque, Johnny Callahan (Carol) of Bernard, Iowa, Doug Rahe (Pam), Karen Stephenson (Edwin), Cindy Winn (Ron), Deb Zabokrtsky (Dennis), Pam Carroll (Greg), James Donahue of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Pat Donahue (Shelley) of Iowa City, Iowa..
