We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Ethel Ann Heeney of Central City, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Breunig and Anna Breunig (Keller); her husband Charles Joseph "Joe" Heeney; her brothers, Alvin, Wilbur, Leroy, Donald and Quentin; and her grandson Patrick Kennedy.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Kennedy (Terry) of Alexandria, MN, Mary Margaret Heeney (Nancy Plantz) of Pueto Vallarta, MX, Ann Wiederspan (Jim) of Lincoln, NE, Dr. Michael Heeney (Jody) of Kearney, NE, Joan Riddle (Tim) of Chester Springs, PA and Mark Heeney (Debbie) of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Merrick County Historical Museum.
