He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Frauen and Hilda Frauen (Lilienthal); his wife Patricia Beth Boyer; his siblings, Dolores Kruse and Glen Frauen; and his son-in-law Nelson Ball.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brent Frauen (Stacey) of Lexington, Kurt Frauen (Jolene) of Palmer, Eric Frauen (Diane) of Grand Island and Kelly Ball of Columbus. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
