He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Stewart (Dayley) and Esther Stewart (Esakson); his parents-in-law, Hubert and Alice Muff; and his brothers-in-law, Sam Baird and Steve Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Muff of Central City; his children, Kerwyn Stewart (Lisa) of Shelton, Alicea Hill (Mike) of Holdrege, Brenda Lamb (Brent) of Gretna, Melissa Schwartman (Gary, Jr.) of Syracuse and Megan Pike (Justin) of Clarks; and his sisters, Joyce Baird of Lincoln and Karla Smith of Grand Island. He is also survived by grandsons; 3 beautiful granddaughters; and a host of extended family.
A memorial has been established in Don's honor and will be designated at a later date.
