He is survived by: his spouse Sherry Zimmerman; his son Robert Van Pelt (Desiree) of Central City; his parents, Dwaine Pelt of Archer and Carmen Van Pelt of Archer; his siblings, Sue Krug (Norman) of Marquette, Anne Gillespie (Dave) of Eagle, Carol Van Pelt of Colorado Springs, CO, Robin Glisson (Dave Rons) of Central City, David Van Pelt (Melanie Miller) of Lincoln, Doug Van Pelt (Donnette) of Central City and Dan Van Pelt (Tonya) of Phillips; and his grandchildren, Josie Pelt of Central City, Blakeley Pelt of Central City and Treyson Van Pelt of Central City.
