We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2019, at the age of 95, Sylvia Pieri Aftonomos (Byron, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Lincoln; her husband Byron Aftonomos; her children, Lefkos, Anthony, Helen Aftonomos and Maria Swanson (Gregory); her sister Georgia Markou of Limassol Cyprus; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary and Sarah Swanson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church or World Vision Inc.
