She was predeceased by: her spouse Verdell Freitag; her sister Verla Heitmann; and her siblings-in-law, Willis Gass, Marvin Freitag, Orin Freitag, Hildreth Freitag, Deanna Freitag and Adalene Schlueter (Freitag).
She is survived by: her friend Roberta Kemper; her children, Don (DeEtte) of Holdrege, Lonny (Jan) of Byron and Evonne (Bill Williams) of Omaha; her siblings, Willis Kettelhut (Marilyn), Jeanette (Richard Mohrmann) and Joanne (Perry Jones); and her siblings-in-law, Lavern Heitmann, Fern (Gene Wittke) and Arlen Schlueter.
Their German ancestry prepared them well with an amazing work ethic, and they created a life together upon this foundation laid before them by their parents, with faith in God, laced with humor, fun, and family.
