He is survived by: his wife Jody Gans (Belsan) of Brainard; his children, Lisa Buntgen (Bill) of David City, Patrick Gans (Jen) of Lincoln and Cindy Kennedy (David) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Rebecca Gilligan (Adam), Nicole Buntgen, Lorenzo and Luca Gans; his great grandchild Derek Gilligan; and his friend Husker Bar II.
