She was predeceased by: her former husband Marvin Roebke; her parents, William Nies and Ethel Nies; and her parents-in-law, Sylvia Roebke and Martin H. Roebke.
She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Roebke (Krista) and Jami Vater (Shawn); her grandchildren, Kamdyn Roebke, Kailyn Vater, Noah Roebke, Jackson Vater, Parker Vater, Ashten Engelman (Chaz), Kennedy Vater and Griffen Vater; her fiancé Jim McPheron; and her brother Arlen Nies (Sharon).
The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:30 P.M. and the family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. A Memorial has been established to the American Legion Auxiliary of Beatrice http://www.foxfuneralhome.net.
