With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Schoneweis of Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on January 14, 2023 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Schoneweis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Giesman and Elsie Giesman (Gebhard); her husband Delmar Schoneweis; her daughter Diane Wendelin; her brother Dennis Giesman; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Ann Abitz, Mary Schoneweis and Eldean Schoneweis.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri VanLaningham (Rod) of Beatrice, Robin Sugden (Steve) of Adams and David Schoneweis of Tulsa, OK; her son-in-law Lonny Wendelin of Crete; and her siblings-in-law, Harlan Schoneweis of Beatrice and Alice Schoneweis of Adams. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to Cottonwood Hospice.
