He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wolken and Emma Wolken (Trauernicht); his brother Lester Wolken; and his parents-in-law, Raymond and Erna Sorenson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sorenson of Beatrice; his children, Dale Wolken (Deb) of Crab Orchard, Denise Buss (Kent) of Pickrell and DeAnn Oltman (Terry) of Pickrell; his grandchildren, Allison Lane (Andy) of Adams, Trenton Buss of Pickrell, Denae Beckman (Brady) of Kansas City, MO, Devin Wolken (Anna) of Crab Orchard, Brett Oltman of Lincoln and Ashley Oltman of Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Emma Lane, Jaxson Lane, Brooks Beckman and Dawson Wolken; his brothers, Marvin Wolken of Beatrice and Leon Wolken (Carlyne) of Beatrice; and his sister-in-law RoJane Wolken of Beatrice.
The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with the family greeting family and friends on Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established to the family for future designation with Don & Melinda Parde and Walter & Audrey Trauernicht in charge.
