He was predeceased by: his parents, Menne Ideus and Lena Ideus (Oltman); his brother Harvey Ideus (Charlene); and his brother-in-law Richard Poole. He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Ideus of Beatrice; his sons, Jason Ideus (Nicki) of Oshkosh, WI and Jeremy Ideus (Helen Combs) of Sausalito, CA; his grandchildren, Grace and Eli Ideus; and his siblings, Richard Ideus (Donna) of Beatrice, Rosetta Poole of Beatrice and Leanna Jurgens of Omaha. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family for future designation.
