We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2018, at the age of 91, Lawrence Unkel (Battle Creek, Nebraska), born in Madison, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Unkel and Sophia Unkel (Hofmann); and his spouse Avalon "Avie" Rasmusson. He is survived by: his children, Laurie Mueller of Omaha, Craig Unkel (Jean) of Battle Creek and Brian Unkel (Carol) of Battle Creek; and his brother-in-law Richard Magwire. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
