She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Rembolt and Viola Rembolt (Schmutz); her son Eric Schaffert; her grandsons, Vincent Schaffert and Jordan Schaffert; her brother Delbert Rembolt; and her brother-in-law Don Schaffert.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Schaffert of Aurora; her daughter Sonja Schaffert of Aurora; her grandchildren, Terrance Schaffert, Lexi Schaffert, Olivia and Matthew Luddington; her sister Joyce Nitsch (Gene) of Boelus; and her siblings-in-law, Arlene Rembolt of Chapman, Ron Schaffert (Joyce) and Robert Schaffert (Ilka). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Memorials may be made in care of the family for future designation.
