He was predeceased by: his sister Charlene Dodson; his parents-in-law, Joe and Dorothy Blanks; and his brother-in-law Wesley Blanks. He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Wesley and Beatrice Elizabeth Benton (Cobb); his wife Sharon Lue Benton of Alma; his daughters, Leschia Molzahn (Neil) of Alma, Charlotte Jay (Chad) of Lander, Wyoming and Teresa Seyler of Gilbert Arizona; his grandchildren, Benton Seyler, Cody Molzahn (Sonia), Chase Seyler, Maggie McConnell (Michael) and Connor Jay; his great grandchildren, Kayleigh Lashley, Marlie McConnell and Meritt McConnell; his brother Eddie Benton; and his sister-in-law Pat Walker (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
