With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman N. McConnell of Alliance, Nebraska, who passed away on May 5, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Earl" McConnell and Clara McConnell (Anderson); his siblings, Anna Lou McConnell, Kathryn Churchill (Morris) and Rodney (Lauretta); his half-brother R. S. (Irene); his son Thomas HwiYoon; and his granddaughter Amber McConnell.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Nils McConnell (Tammy), Jody Distler (Jim), Rick JoonHo (Sophie) and Linda Hotchkiss; his sister Clara May Groves (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Conner, Eryn, Monty McConnell, Megan, Anthony, Erik Distler, Zachary, Katelyn McConnell, Benjamin, Alexandra, Ethan Hotchkiss, Casey and Christian Taylor.
