She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Tschacher and Lacy Tschacher (Boyer) of Hemingford, Nebraska.; her husband Gene Gerdes; and her siblings, Edward, Donald Tschacher, Sharon Miller and Delores Tschacher.

She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea Gerdes (Bud) and Sarah Milleson (Randy); her grandchildren, Erin Fritzler (Mark), Robyn Flores (Brandon) and Michael Rust (Shyanne); and her siblings, Margie Brost (Fred), Gary Tschacher (Barbara), Robert Tschacher (Mary) and Mary Jo Rotter (Joe). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

Alice asked that donations to be designated to Down Syndrome and Autism Research Centers.
