Lavaun Swanson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavaun Swanson (West Fargo, North Dakota), who passed away on November 6, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lavaun Swanson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Olaf Opperud and Estella Opperud (Patenaude); her husband Edwin Gustaf Swanson; her siblings, Lloyd Opperud, Raymond Opperud, Mary Lou Hoffe, Alice Johnson, Gloria Kansanback and Oihus; her siblings-in-law, Lyle Kansanback, Earl Johnson, Gordy Oihus, Luther Ness and Isabelle Opperud; her nephews, Robert Opperud, Paul Ness, Bruce Horton and Bruce Johnson; her niece Diane Domier (Opperud); her great-nephews, Ronnie Opperud and Michael Johnson; and also, Katie Burris and Kassandra Hedland.

She is survived by: her sister Eleanor Ness (Opperud) of Meza, AZ; her siblings-in-law, Gladys Opperud (Meine) of Crookston, MN and Arnie Hoffe of Dakota, MN.; and her godchildren, JoAnn Meyer of Aurora, MN, Brian Johnson of Grand Forks, ND and Rose Borslien (Opperud) of West Fargo, ND. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and great grandnieces and great grandnephews.

She had a good memory until her Alzheimer's started to take over.
