He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Dwyer and Helen Dwyer (Cain); his children, John and Rosie; his stepmother Mary Dwyer; his grandparents, Mary and Jack Dwyer; his parents-in-law, Mary and Gordon McPherson; and his sisters, Jackie Simonson (Chuck) and Barb Horsley (Larry).
He is survived by: his wife Virginia McPherson; his children, Becky Dwyer (Clint Hayford) of Moorhead, MN and Shelly Bopp (Steve) of Stirum, ND; his grandchildren, Josie and Calvin; his sisters, Deanna Intermill (Gary) of Glen Cove, WA, Deb Protexter (Mark) of Sioux City, IA and Bonnie Jasman of Sioux City, IA; and his parents-in-law, Jim McPherson (Lois) of Wichita, KS, Doug McPherson (Leona) of Valley City, ND, Jerry McPherson (Pam) of Yuma, CO, Carl McPherson (Vicki) of Wahpeton, ND, Eddie (Laurel) of Erie, ND, Donnie McPherson (Joanie) of Arthur, ND, Linda Ottesen (Larry) of West Fargo, ND, Toby McPherson (Sue) of Page, ND and Scott McPherson of Erie, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
