She was predeceased by: her parents, Odin Pederson and Eva Pederson (Bjerke); her siblings, Orville and Marion; and her brother-in-law Bill Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Smith; her children, Dennis Smith (Adele) of Tower City, ND, Sherry Johnson (Barry) of West Fargo, ND and Rita Lerud (Tim); her siblings, Jean Johnson of Fargo, ND, Sandy Orth (Doug), Mobridge, Cindy Johnson (Dale), Charles Pederson (Karen) of Valley City, ND and Larry Pederson (LeAnn); and her brother-in-law Gary Lindemann of Enderlin, ND. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Tower City.
