She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Nygard and Dorothy Nygard (Giddings); and her brothers-in-law, Gaylord Vangsness and Joe Morrison. She is survived by: her former husband Allan Currie; her son Paul (Christina); her granddaughter Heather of Rochester, MN; her stepson Shawn Currie (Kumiko); her stepgrandsons, Joshua, Jacob of Coral Springs, FL and Scott Currie of Walcott, ND; her sisters, Eileen Vangsness Morrison of Brea, CA and Kristi Leach (Curt) of Dilworth, MN; and her close friends, Curt and Rosie Vanek. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated for a tree to be planted in Elmwood Park.
