He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Thompson and Gladys Thompson (Weiss); and his brother Dr. Stanley Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Wales; his children, Bradley (Diana) of Artesia, NM, Corey (Missy) and Randi (David Willett) of Albuquerque, NM; and his grandsons, Nicholas, Noah and Nathaniel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley or Faith Lutheran Church.
