He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Tveter and Hilda Tveter (Thingvold); his siblings, Rolland Tveter, Jerome Tveter and Arlos Adams; his parents-in-law, Martin and Alma Sande; and his brothers-in-law, Curtis Sande, Douglas Sande and Bill Adams.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Elaina Sande; his children, Jayme Eugene (Danielle), Jayson Eugene and JeAnne Homiston (Shane); his grandchildren, Justine of Watford City, Jaryn (Andrea) of Fargo, Jessen of Watford City, Ashton, Kaylee of Rapid City, SD, Joselyn and Jayson Jr.; his siblings, Dean Tveter (Lois) of NewTown, ND, Shannon Tveter (Cindy) of Dunnellon, FL and Shelly Sundt (Clif) of Williston, ND; and his great grandchildren, Jenna, Jordy and Jace. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
