She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias Garman and Marion Garman (Bohl); her former husband Pete; her granddaughter Samantha Erman; and her siblings, Andrew, Victor, Jerome, Daniel Garman, Margaret Garman, Joann Bosch, Max and Anna.
She is survived by: her husband Peter Schmidt; her children, Gregory (Alice) of Rugby, Kenneth (Debbie) of Minot, Timothy (Brigitha) of Towner, Kevin of Hammond, Ronald (Jennifer) of Surrey, Curtis (Brenda) of Dickinson, Myron (Jody) of Colstrip, Charles (Jody) of Felton, Bruce (Lisa) of Maple Grove, Minnesota, Joyce Baranyk (Larry) of Byers, Annette Steiner (Gene) of Mott, Cindy Migler (Dave) of Rugby, Donna Estenson (Donald) of Penn, Cheryl Keller (Bryan) of Mandan, Bernadette Dahners (Chris) of Mandan and Lorraine Erman (Grant) of New Rockford; and her siblings, Albert Garman of Oregon, Gabriella Garman of Wisconsin, Barbara Garman of Minnesota and Betty Buttle of California. She is also survived by nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made in her honor to St. Cecilia's Catholic Cemetery fund in Towner or Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby.
