He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Thorson and Olga Thorson; and his brother-in-law David Butler. He is survived by: his siblings, Yvonne Butler of Cavalier, ND, Alyce Rasmusson (Alan) of Longview, WA and Doris Lund (Dick) of Golden Valley, MN; and his children, David Thorson (Denise) of Rozet, WY, Connie Semler (Tim) of Willow City, ND, Hal Thorson (Anna) of Towner, Carlen Thorson (Karla) of Dickinson, ND and Scott Thorson (Kristy) of Towner. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
