She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryan Bird and Louella Young Bird (Painte); her grandparents, David, Alice Painte, Thomas Young Bird and Lottie Sherwood; and her godson Jacob Baker.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Freeman; her children, David Kyler Johnson, Clarence James "CJ" Freeman and Kiann Galo; her grandchildren, Jaeden and Ayanna; her siblings, Pete Young Bird, Royce Wolf, Delmer Young Bird, Brent Tveter and Leslie Young Bird; her uncle Thomas Young Bird, Jr.; her nephews, Garrett Young Bird and Clay Young Bird; her niece Tierra Young Bird; her goddaughter Cedar Spotted Bear; and her pet Kaw-Liga. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
In consideration of North Dakota and Mandan Hidatsa Arikara Nation COVID-19 guidelines, Marion's family will celebrate her life with a private service at Langhans Funeral Home, Parshall.
