She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howling Wolf and Edith Perkins; her grandson Rudy Young Bird; her great grandchild Aerianna Reddogg; and her siblings, Arlene Crows Breast, Silas Howling Wolf, Delmar Howling Wolf and Burr Crows Breast, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Deanne Azure, John Bruce and Dwight Bruce; her siblings, Ada White Lightening, Rev. Darlene Perkins and Waldron Crows Breast, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Danielle, Meriah, KellyAnn, Carlee, Bronson, Eric, Margie and Dwight Jr.. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She also worked as assistant director for Fort Berthold Housing Authority and held other administrative jobs within tribal government and the Casey Foundation.
