It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Scheffert (Oakes, North Dakota), who passed away on September 25, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Steinmetz and Ruth Steinmetz (Pfutzenreuter); her husband Ben; her brother Marvin; and her grandson Luke.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy Redlin (Gene), Tom Scheffert, Skip Scheffert, Clare Scheffert (Charlene) and Russell Scheffert (Linda). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
