He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis and Lucille Kelly (German) of Oakes, ND.; his brothers, George and Mike; and his son-in-law Brian Holzer.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Miller (Terri); his children, Tonya Holzer-Voss (Nick) of Casselton, ND, Adam Kelly of Oakes, ND and Collin Kelly (Katie) of Detroit Lakes, MN; his grandchildren, Halie Roden (Drew), Rylie Holzer, Cole Holzer, Emersyn Voss, Easton Voss, Kaitlyn Dewald, Brailyn Anderson (Brook), Shailyn Kelly, Gabby Breker, Makenzie Breker, Holden Breker, Gannon Kelly and Crew Kelly; his great grandchild Haisley Anderson; and his siblings, Patrick, Joe, Tom, Rob, Cathy Iverson, Mary Lystad and Therese McCormick.
