He is survived by: his former wife Loretta Day; his wife Mindy Whitaker; his daughter Stephanie Pagel (Joel) of Menasha, WI; his stepchildren, Crystal Casaroti (Joao Paul) of Baton Rouge, LA and Lawrence Whitaker; his grandson Anthony Casaroti; and his siblings, Roger Presler (Judith) of Gackle, ND and Donna Scherr (John) of Oakes, ND. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
