He is survived by: his brother Wayne Knipple (Kathy); his niece Karla Giboney; his nephews, Brad Wagner and Scott Wagner; his daughter Tonya Schmaltz (Jody); his grandchildren, Ross, Danielle and Aleise Schmaltz; his son Dylan Knipple (Cassie); and his grandchildren, Jonas, Reyna Knipple, Joel Knipple (Kori), Jude and Josie Knipple.
