It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Baasch of Oakes, North Dakota, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Baasch and Beatrice Baasch (Hoffmeyer); his brothers, Jerry and Dale; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Baasch.
He is survived by: his former wife Nola Krause; his children, Keith, Judy Hild (Jason) of Boise, ID, Stacey Baasch (Angela) and Shelby; his grandsons, Daniel, Peter of Oakes, Keith Baasch (Katrina), Clayton and Charles of Boise, ID.; his siblings, Diana Vagle (Tom), Jeanette Hansen (Wilbur), Stuart Baasch (Mary), Dennis Baasch (Myrna) and Kathleen Hoenhause (Harvey); his sister-in-law Lisa Baasch; and his aunt Karen Magnuson (LeRoy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
