She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudy J. Vitense and Lois Vitense (McCormick); her husband Ernest "Bud" Frohling; her brother Bob Vitense; her half-sisters, Myrtle Sieber and Myrtis Daly; her daughter Denise Krueger; and her great grandchild Shelby Thayer.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Frohling (Shirlee), Gayle Lloyd (Robert), Joel Frohling and Ken Frohling (Diane); her siblings, Forrest Vitense, Sioux Falls, Shirley Dayton (Aberdeen), Mavis Leif (Sioux Falls), Wanda Stange (Sioux Falls) and Murriel Oles (Bob); her half-sister Ione Schelbitzki of Geneva, Neb.; her sister-in-law Kathie Vitense; and also Walter. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
