He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy "Dotty" Ellingson (Paulson); his mother-in-law Lucille "Lucy" Emter; and his brother-in-law Jacob "Jay" Hauser. He is survived by: his father Raymond Ellingson; his wife Brenda (Emter); his children, Miranda (Angel Sonora) and Brooke; his brothers, Todd (Stacey), Jon (Missy), Mark and Wyatt (Carrie); his father-in-law Adalbert Emter (Ruby); and his siblings-in-law, Dean Emter (Penney), Jean Ball (Jeff) and Tami Leier (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Casual attire can be worn, and the family asks that in lieu of flowers, plant a tree in Curt's memory or donate money to a favorite charity.
