He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur G. Strutz and Dorothy Strutz (Storm); his sons, Joseph and Lucas; his brother Amuel; and his grandsons, Michael Strutz, Christopher Gebhardt and Steven Strutz Jr..
He is survived by: his former wife Deloris Meyer; his wife Dee; his children, Julie Kopperud (Rod Brummund) of Oakes, ND, Steve Strutz (Sharon) of Bagley, MN, Lu Hoglund (Jeff) of Harwood, ND, Arthur J. "Bain" Strutz, Sheila Strutz of Manor, TX, Angie Kopperud (Ross) of Jamestown, ND and Amy Kelly (John); and his siblings, Phyllis Hofsommer, Marionetta McDougall and Myron "Mike" Strutz (Pam). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
