He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma and Thompson (Edwin Sherwin); and his siblings, Earnest (Doris), Vernon (Helen), Raymond "Bud" (Marcella), Stanley, Helen McKee, Marian Guss (Dwight) and Lucille Cote (Arthur).
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Robert McKee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
He helped curate and donated items to the Prairie Village Museum in Rugby, including tractors, phone equipment and many other historical items.
