It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wesley Lane Hennix in Kenmare, North Dakota, who passed away on June 25, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hennix and Garda Hennix (Myron); his wife Arliss V. Borjeson; his brother Gaylen Hennix; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Hennix, Jean Hennix, Franklin Borjeson and George Schamberger.

He is survived by: his children, Laury Hennix (Ranae) of Kenmare, ND, Kirk Hennix (Sherrie) of Kenmare, ND, Rick Hennix (Michelle) of Kenmare, ND and Renae Howe (Ron) of Horace, ND; his grandchildren, Nathan Hennix (Kristen Johnson), Kyle Hennix (Alex), Travis Hennix (Tia), Bryce Hennix, Kayla White (Michael), Cody Howe, Hunter Howe, Patrick Perlichek (Nicole) and Paxton Perlichek (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Brekka, Crew, Taylor, Maklyn and Tatum; his brother Ken Hennix of Lenexa, KS; and his sisters-in-law, Arlene Schamberger and Mary Probst (Tom). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

“Wesley was my hero-neighbor when I lived in Niobe (ND); when he returned from the Korean-War (he served in the USMC in CA), he taught Sunday School. He married Arlis Borjeson, a teacher, and they raised a family in Niobe until they moved to Kenmare. Wes was the manager for one of the two Elevator Companies in Niobe. He and Arlis lived in Kenmare and I spoke to them often when I was visiting my brother James O'Gorden. Submitted by John O'Gorden”
