It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Brunner of Kenmare, North Dakota, born in Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on April 9, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Brunner and Carol Brunner (Lindbo); his sons, Brian and Michael Brunner; his sister Donna Brunner; and his nephew Jerod Mattern.
He is survived by: his former wife JoAnn Berg; his wife Shirley Melin; his children, Jason Brunner (Brenda) of Grand Junction, CO and Traci Kirby (Joel) of Ashland, NE; his stepsons, Kirt Jensen (Ginny) of Kenmare and Mark Jensen of Kenmare; his grandchildren, Tegan, Ashtyn, Sloan Kirby, Austin, Tyler, Shelby Christopherson (Kayden) and Chelsie Getzlaff; his great grandchildren, Ace Christopherson and Addy Mae Getzlaff; and his siblings, Jim (Linda), Rick (Marilyn) of Mohall, ND, Steve Brunner of Fairbanks, AK, Connie Unterseher (Marvin) of Velva, ND and Sheila Severtson (Norris) of Grafton, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
