It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Mildred Swenson (Kenmare, North Dakota), born in Burr Oak, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Torgeson and Emma Torgeson; and her sister Lucille Grindeland (Manfred Rudolph Swenson). She is survived by: her husband Manfred Swenson; her brother Ronald Torgeson (Gynelle) of Bismarck; her son Glenn Neil (Dorothy) of Fort Mill, SC; her grandchildren, Martin Swenson (Sherra) and Ginny Hice (Bill); and her great grandchildren, Hunter Hice (Carolyn), Colby Hice, Clay Swenson and Kaleb Swenson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
