It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene J. Helmers of Kenmare, North Dakota, who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Bangs and Alice Bangs (Bruhn); and her daughter-in-law Diane Helmers. She is survived by: her former husband Darwin Helmers; her fiancé Tom King; her children, Dan Helmers, Sara Schatz (Rodney), Drake and Teresa Egeberg (Cory); her grandchildren, Ashley Braun (Colby), Matthew Helmers, Jamie Sortino, Jonathan Sortino, Austin Schatz, Wyatt Schatz, Taylor Egeberg (Shelby) and Tanner Egeberg; her great grandchildren, Axyl, Aizyn, Hendryx, Haylen Braun, Oaklyn and Oliver Egeberg; and her brother Rodger Bangs of Tolley, ND. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
