It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Filler of Harvey, North Dakota, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Filler and Christiana Filler (Goll); his wife Margene Hirschkorn; and his siblings, Frieda Bartz (Robert) of Anamoose, Lillie Feil (Alfred) of Rock Valley, IA, Violet McCartney (Lawrence) of Oakland, NB, Roy Filler (Darlene) of Martin and Alvin Filler.
He is survived by: his children, Candra Tessmann (Brian) of Fargo, ND, Pamela Akers (Butch) of Harwood, ND and Ryan Filler of Goodrich, ND; and his brothers, Wesley Filler (Dena) of Minot, ND and Rufus Filler of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
