He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Berg and Hazel Berg (Jacobsen); and his granddaughter Amanda Engelking. He is survived by: his former wife Janet Brauer; his children, Jeanne Engelking (Rod) of West Fargo, ND, Marilyn Hansen (Grover) of West Fargo, ND, Betty Krahler (Curt) of Fessenden, ND, Robert Berg (Karla) of Bismarck, ND and Susan Wangen of West Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Kristin Frost (Micah), Ronnie Engelking (Erika), Timothy Engelking, Trisha Fraaze (Mark), Erik Hansen, Justin Krahler, Bobbie Jo Larson (Ryan), Jaime Younker (Jake), Brittany Schlosser, Michael Berg, Chelsea Partlow (Will) and Devon Wangen; his sister Betty Wierenga of Grand Rapids, MI; and his close friend Vera Gish of Alexandria, MN.. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
