He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rivard and Antoinette Rivard (Sauvageau); his siblings, Henrietta Marie, David (Helen), Richard (Patricia) and Donald (Maxine); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Borho (Jan), William Borho, Francis Waltz and Albina Reichmuth (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Myrna; his children, Roger (Connie) of Bloomington, MN, Keith (Linda) of Omaha, NE, Carleen Bertelsen (Rick) of Fairmont, ND and Mark (Jennie) of Fargo; his brother Jerome Rivard (Carol) of Fargo; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Regina, Jeremy, Angela, Therese, Denae, Drew, Danielle, Derek, Dawn, David, Nick, Nate, Sadie, Tyler and Lilly; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Borho (Viola), Donna Waltz and Dorothy Montplaisir.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Cathedral of St. Mary in Fargo or to the Fago AMVETS Post #7.
