He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Nickelson and Grace Nickelson (Carlson); and his brothers, Wayne Nickelson and Arlan Nickelson. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Schultz of Bottineau; his children, Barb Browning (Shawn) of Daphne, AL, Leslie Watson (Brian) of Bismarck and Brad (Jodi) of Minot; his grandchildren, Nathan Browning (Puja), Briana Augustine (Andrew), Patrick Watson and Lindsey Watson; his great grandchild Mila Browning; and his sisters-in-law, Harriet Nickelson and Leone Nickelson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
