She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Patterson and Anna Patterson (Iken); her aunt Beth Iken; her former husband Ernest J. Barbie; her daughter Sally Barbie; and her sister Lucille Bartram.
She is survived by: her husband Micheal V. Deisz of Bismarck, ND; her children, Sandi Barbie of Mandan, ND, John Barbie (Tammy), Gary Barbie (Carrie) of Bismarck, ND and Valerie Barbie of Bismarck, ND; her grandchildren, Renae Barbie, Camden Sailer, Medora Sailer, Keaton Sailer, Sophia Barbie, Isabella Barbie, Victoria Barbie, Preston Barbie and Adam Barbie; her great grandchild Marshal Volk; and her siblings, Clara Papineau and David Patterson (Lori). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her honor.
