James R. Beaty Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Beaty of Bismarck, North Dakota, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Beaty and Josephine Powell Beaty; his son-in-law David Burgman; and his brothers, Whitney M. Beaty and Richard D. Beaty.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kay; his children, James R Jr. (Cati), Jeffrey W. Bismarck (Jami), Jacob P (Brie), Jean Stalnaker (Ward) of Shawnee, KS, Jane Burgman of Leonardville, KS and Jo Beaty; and his sister Mary Floyd (Edwin). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and wonderful friends and neighbors, including four legged friends.
James donated his body to UND School of Medicine and wished for no formal services.
