He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lacher and Elsie Lacher (Ostoj); his wife Carole Lacher; his daughter Paula Lacher; his parents-in-law, Rudy and Esther Stoltz; his siblings, Gordon Lacher, Lester Lacher and Theresa Lacher; his nephew Darel Lacher; his great-niece Jenna Lacher; and his siblings-in-law, Verlyn Berger, Dwight Franklund and Gladys Lacher.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Leon Bauer of Baldwin, ND; his grandsons, Shelby, Luke (Autum) and Ryan Bauer; his sister Betty Lou Berger of Miles City, MT; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Franklund and Bernie Stoltz (Micki).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
