She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lipp and Johanna Lipp (Rahrich); her husband Joe Mathern; her sister Viola Ressler; and her granddaughter Paige Vearrier.
She is survived by: her children, Joe (Sue), Shelly (Mitch Torgeson), Gerard (Pam), Greg, Tom (DeAnn), Ted (Andrea), Mary (Marc Schneider) and Kari (Eric Stromstad). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Corpus Christi Food Pantry.
