He is survived by: his parents, John Larsen and Carleen Larsen (Kelly) of Granville, ND; his wife Amy Haugan; his stepson Dylan Stevens; his sister Peggy Larsen Steimel (Ben) of Scottsdale, AZ; his nieces and nephews, Madison, Charles and Tyler; his sister Rebecca Hoglund (Patrick) of Phoenix, AZ; his nieces, Anna Lise and Clara; his nephew Aidan; his sister Danielle Hilzendeger (Austin) of Minot, ND; and his aunts and uncles, Ralph Larsen (Joanne) of Granville, ND, Kathleen Brewer, Mark Kelly (Terese) of Cotton, MN, John Kelly (Sue) of Virginia, MN and Mary Heilman (Rob) of Ham Lake, MN.
His mother, ready to ride the campaign trail with him, would drive Doug door to door as he passionately shared his vision with the community during the height of the COVID pandemic.
